Set up your first bundle

1. Open Bundle Continuity in Shopify admin and download the sample CSV.
2. Map your source export to its columns. Use one row per component: bundle key, title, kind, SKU, quantity, unit price, discount type, discount value, currency and optional source product handle.
3. Import the CSV. Each SKU must uniquely match an active Shopify variant and current price. Fixed bundles support up to 30 component SKUs; multipacks have one SKU.
4. Prepare the fallback draft. It creates a separate app-owned product; it does not change the source product.
5. In Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds, enable “Continuity cart checks” and save. Optionally add the “Continuity fallback” app block to a section and select the prepared fallback product.
6. Enable it when ready to test, then run a fallback rehearsal. Check shipping, tax, other discounts and cart appearance yourself.
7. A successful rehearsal saves the known-good version. Disable the fallback after rehearsal if you are continuing to use your source app.
8. Save an operational alert email and export your migration report. Protect schedules checks every six hours for active fallbacks or configured source product handles.

CSV discount rules

Supported values are none, percentage, fixed_amount and fixed_price. The resulting price must be above zero and no higher than the component total. Amounts use the shop currency and up to two decimal places. This version does not support zero-decimal or three-decimal currency pricing conventions.

When a check fails

Read the check history and compare the saved definition. Confirm stock, current prices, product availability, storefront password, source handle and add-to-cart controls. A custom source widget requires a connector; do not assume an ordinary product form tests its special behavior. Never uninstall your source app solely to run a rehearsal.

Emergency procedure

Review the latest known-good report. Disable the conflicting source offer yourself, enable the rehearsed fallback and direct shoppers to its separate product URL. Use rollback to restore the last successfully rehearsed definition. Emergency disable drafts only Bundle Continuity’s active fallback products. If Shopify is unavailable, controls cannot complete; inspect any reported failures in admin.

Send a safe reproduction

Email your shop domain, UTC time, affected bundle key, check error and a screenshot with sensitive data removed. Never send OAuth tokens, passwords, customer information or payment details. We can investigate only data you authorize us to access.

Data and billing

Export CSV and migration reports from each bundle card. Uninstalling ends access and scheduled processing. See the privacy policy and terms. Public paid enrollment opens after Shopify approval; development stores are free test environments.
